Model UN Wins Awards Graphic

Model UN recently attended a virtual conference at Columbia University, from Jan. 14-16. Students participated in engaging crisis committees and discussed a number of interesting and interactive topics. Several students won awards for their hard work:

* Grace Aderibigbe won a Verbal Commendation Award for representing Antonietta Quigg in the committee Deepwater Horizon.
* Kaitlyn Bell won a Best Delegate Award for representing Edelgard Bulmahn in the committee Wolves, Goats, and Cabbages: Germany.
* Daniella Canning won an Honorable Mention Award for representing Maksim Saburov in the committee Ad Hoc: The Death of Stalin.
* Sania Daniyal won a Verbal Commendation Award for representing Bruno Cabrera in the committee The Angolan Civil War, 1975: Cuba.
* Anitta Kottia won an Outstanding Delegate Award for representing Dr. Niko Keller in the committee NASA Board of Directors.
* Ethan Mehta won an Honorable Mention Award for representing Doofus Rick in the committee Rick and Morty.
* Brandon Noguera won an Outstanding Delegate Award for representing Ruan de Beers in the committee The Angolan Civil War, 1975: South Africa.
* Alvin Paul won an Outstanding Delegate Award for representing José María Aznar in the committee Wolves, Goats, and Cabbages: European Union.
* David Ren won a Best Delegate Award for representing Miguel Cabanellas Ferrer in the committee The Spanish Civil War, 1936: Los Nacionalistas.
