Mrs. Lisa Carey-Hill held a series of presentations given by Vietnam War veterans to many Social Studies classes. The veterans spoke to the students about their time and service in the Vietnam War. Students asked them questions and were able to see examples of equipment from the war, as well as hear their first-hand accounts from this part of American history. Richie Kaplan, Paul Mundy, Eric Spinner, Sal Martella and Richie Winter are local veterans from Long Island. They presented H. Frank Carey with a certificate of appreciation.
