Jack Lewinger and Jeanna Neglia

Resilient, determined, talented and kind are just a few words that can be used to describe Jack Lewinger. This senior is an incredibly dedicated student who has the perfect combination of both determined spirit and shining personality. He stands tall among his peers, not only because of his outstanding record of academic, personal and extracurricular achievement, but as a result of his integrity and initiative. This senior is a member of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department Explorers' program, as well as a counselor at Sunrise Day Camp. Throughout his high school career, this senior has been heavily involved in Carey's musical and drama productions. He starred in a series of productions including Catch Me If You Can the Musical, The Sound of Music, Shrek the Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Great All-American Musical Disaster, and Legally Blonde the Musical. This senior will be attending Long Island University in the fall to study musical theater.

Jeanna Neglia is a student who is full of smiles, friendly and kind to all, and a leader in and out of the classroom. Academically, she is in the top of her class as a result of natural intellect, hard work and consistent dedication.  Her educational accomplishments include memberships in the National, Math, English, Social Studies and Science honor societies. Her extracurricular record shows a well-rounded student who exhibits much dedication and pride in all she does. She holds the titles of vice president of Student Government, editor of the Yearbook, secretary of the African Culture Club, and Student Government Representative for the Class of 2023.  Additionally, she is a contributing member of the Italian Culture Club, Mind Over Matters Club, Carey Cares Mentoring Program, Alert, FBLA and the Key Club.  She is an enthusiastic, energetic and talented member of the varsity fall cheerleading and varsity cheer competition teams and has received many awards for her efforts over the years. This outstanding role model tutors younger students as an ambassador for the National Honor Society and volunteers her time for Rock Out Cures. Her educational journey will continue at Sacred Heart University, where she will be in the honors program, majoring in mathematics.
